Maria Camila Rivera Zabarain

Maria Camila joined the Gardner Center in 2022 as a Policy Analyst after previously working with the Gardner Center while a student at the Stanford Graduate School of Education. Maria Camila works on several complex research projects, providing support with quantitative analysis to determine a program’s effectiveness in reaching their goals. Her research focuses on equity public in education systems, early literacy, and English language learners. Prior to her studies at Stanford, Maria Camila worked as an education consultant at the Inter-American Development Bank. She earned an MA in Education Policy Organization and Leadership Studies at Stanford University and an MA and BA in Economics at the Universidad de los Andes, Colombia.
