Kendra Fehrer joined the Gardner Center in 2013 as a qualitative research associate with a background in anthropology and community development. For over a decade, she has conducted social science research on policies and programs affecting low-income populations, both domestically and across Latin America.

Kendra brings a culturally-informed and community-oriented perspective to her work. At the Gardner Center, she has worked on projects in the areas of family engagement, community schools, social welfare programs, and positive youth development, among others.
